Pirate's Cove Fun

Hi friends. Summer is all about the water adventures. Won't you agree with me? That's why when I came across a deal through Plum District for a $19 family 4-pack admission ticket to Pirate's Cove, here in Colorado, I couldn't pass up the deal!

I bought the tickets in April and with our new crazy Summer schedule, we didn't get to use it till about two weeks ago. Mitch just got done with some tests at school and needed a break from all the studying so we planned it on a Saturday.

Pirate's Cove is near Denver so it was a bit of a drive and when we got there at about 10:30 am, the parking lot was almost full. This was our first time to try this place out and we didn't know what to expect but it didn't disappoint. There were so many things to do and try out. Of course the kids loved the kid friendly pools, we tried the lazy river and the big slides. Even with my fear of heights, I HAD to try it out! They also had a diving board which Marcus tried out. Maddie's favorite was the bucket that fills up with water and then eventually drops to the crowd underneath making for a big splash. So fun!!!

Here are some photos we got from our trip. Of course, water and the camera doesn't go together so we opted to take some in the beginning then we put our camera away in a locker and then pulled it out again as we were getting ready to leave. So these shots doesn't really showcase our whole day's worth of fun, but you can still have a little glimpse of it. :)

I felt so blessed to have stumbled upon this deal and that we can take our kids to these kinds of places without breaking the bank. Love these kinds of Summer memories, especially when we share them as a family.

Till next time,
Grace
